  • The classes provided by The Compound Club are for health and fitness purposes only, and are not be interpreted as a recommendation for a specific treatment plan, course of action or a replacement for medical advice.

    Exercise is not without risks and this or any other exercise programme may result in injury. They include but are not limited to: risk of injury, aggravation of a pre-existing condition, or adverse effect of over-exertion such as muscle strain, abnormal blood pressure, fainting, disorders of heartbeat, and very rare instances of heart attack. To reduce the risk of injury, before beginning this or any exercise programme, please consult a healthcare provider for appropriate exercise prescription and safety precautions. The exercise instruction and advice presented in the classes are in no way intended as a substitute for medical consultation. The Compound Club disclaims any liability from and in connection with the classes.

    As with any exercise programme, if at any point during the class you begin to feel faint, dizzy, have physical discomfort or believe you may have sustained an injury, you should stop immediately and seek medical advice.

    In the event of feeling faint or dizzy, please sit on the floor with your back against a wall with your head in between your knees and breath slowly. Please do not sit on a chair. Once you feel better you are advised to craw, rather than stand, to a telephone to seek medical attention.

    Please take note of the following precautions before taking the class:

    Please use good judgement and common sense when taking the class, consider your level, ability and medical history and choose the appropriate level of the exercises provided by your instructor and rest when you need to.

    Please ensure you are in a clear space large enough to allow you to lay on the floor with limbs fully outstretched while not touching anything. Remove obvious hazards, such as furniture, pets, electrical cables and rugs that could slip on wooden or tiles surfaces. Allow ventilation, use appropriate lighting, a non-slippery surface, and have access to water. If you workout space is by an inward opening door please make others in your property aware that you will be exercising. Children are politely requested to be in another room while you take part in a class.
